Gwyneth Zammit has been interested in Strummin’ through voluntary work. Her passion grew and from a volunteer she became a committee member and nowadays she is one of the project coordinators for the Strummin’ Charity Concerts. Her interest in music began when she learned the piano at a young age and then progressed to singing with Symphonik Choir (2007-2015). Being part of this team has given her the energy to keep dreaming and take Strummin’ to the next step.

Jackie Grech has been involved in Strummin’ since 2008, first as a concert participant (singer and guitarist) but in the following years also as part of the committee. Over the years she was responsible for fundraising and social events, finances and sponsorships, and in 2016 took over as one of the Project Coordinators. She has been involved with several choirs since a very young age, mainly Cantores Sancti Juliani (1998-2006), Symphonik (2007-2015), and Enkor Choir (2016-present), and has taken part in various musical productions like Gounod’s Romeo et Juliette (2005) and Simply Queen (2016).

He took part in musical productions of Voices (2004, 2006 and 2012), A Lad In Love (2006), Symphonik (2007-2013), was a semi-finalist at the Malta Song For Europe 2008, was an award-nominated artist in the 2008 Bay Music Awards and Malta Music Awards, and was one of the singers of acoustic-based band Akustika (2009-2015). He is currently working with Strummin’ Foundation to develop new performance pieces which enrich people’s lives through music.

Lorleen Farrugia has been involved in the voluntary youth scene since 1999. She has coordinated several youth projects and events aimed at empowering young people and helping them develop their talents. Lorleen was part of the organizing committee of the very first two editions of Strummin’ concerts and has been involved in the Strummin’ concerts in various roles ever since. She also coordinated the project between 2009 and 2014. She is currently a member of the Strummin’ Foundation where she works on developing partnerships that support the Foundation’s aims.

Luke Grech was introduced to Strummin’ at age 14 as one of the strummers in the 3rd edition back in 2004. From then on, he has been involved in the organisation of the Strummin’ experience as a guitar tutor, committee member, band leader as well as the music coordinator. He currently is the guitarist for the bands Relikc and the Big Band Brothers, and is also a session guitarist for a number of other solo artists and bands.
