Over the years the Strummin’ concert has become synonymous with the choir of guitarists gathered on one stage together with singers, backing vocalists, band and crew strumming along to adaptations of classic and popular songs. Organised by the Strummin’ Foundation, the concert is put together by volunteers and held over two nights with the proceeds going to a local charity.
We are currently working hard to organise this year’s Strummin’ concert in a new and innovative format. To this end, we require numerous volunteers to help us make this edition another memorable event from which funds will be donated to Smiling with Jerome.
Volunteers will be working as Front of House or as Backstage crew members and need to be 18 years and older. They will be able to choose their desired role when applying. Potential volunteers need to be available from Monday 3rd October to Thursday 6th October (production week) and from Friday 7th October to Sunday 9th October (actual performances with a possibility of a matinee on Sunday).
