Strummin’ Soloists 2024

Due to time restrictions, this year we are requesting video auditions for soloists. We kindly ask you to follow the instructions below, and submit your video auditions in the booking system accordingly.

What you need to do:

• You need to submit 2 videos (1 for each song).
• Both of your songs need to be from this year’s setlist.
• Your audition needs to be a video and with good audio quality. This means that you need to be seen singing in the video as well, and not just your voice.
• Please use the backing tracks provided from the setlist (link here). Do not sing along to the original track.
• You are free to change the keys of the tracks as necessary that best suit you, however you need to let us know in the booking form. If you use the original key, please also confirm this in the booking form.
• Make sure that both you and the backing track can be heard clearly.
• Re-name your video with your name, and the song title.
• If possible, kindly compress each video to around 35Mb.
• Kindly upload your video auditions separately to WeTransfer, and provide us with 2 separate links in the booking form.

You are required to follow the above and submit your video auditions by no later than Friday, 7th June 2024. Late auditions will unfortunately not be considered. Kindly note that there will be a possibility of a call back for a live audition on Tuesday 18th and Thursday 20th June, between 18:00 and 21:00. Further details related to call backs will be provided to those who will be called upon.

We encourage you to try out for any of the songs from the setlist, however keep in mind that there is a possibility that you might not be assigned the songs you auditioned for, based on the judges’ recommendations.
