Born from a shared love for acoustic music, Akustika is a band of passionate musicians who first met through the renowned Strummin’ concerts. They last took the stage together a decade ago, creating unforgettable harmonies and forging lasting friendships. Now, after ten years, they are back for the 10th edition of their concerts—stronger, wiser, and ready to share their stories through music.
Comprised of doctors, administrators, creatives, actors, singers, and engineers, Akustika is more than just a band; it’s a reflection of life’s diverse paths converging into one powerful sound. This year’s concert, “Echoes of Life,” will explore how each musician has grown, using raw acoustic melodies to tell their personal and collective journeys.

With its very first edition being held in November 2002, Strummin’ has developed to become one of Malta’s most awaited charity concerts, well known for their rock tunes and timeless classics (while still giving it that little poppy edge by choosing a song or two which everyone is playing on their radios).
