After a decade-long hiatus, Akustika is making a highly anticipated return to the stage with a special 10th edition concert titled Echoes of Life. The intimate acoustic performance will take place on March 7th and 8th, 2025, at Sala San Duminku, Valletta.
Akustika was born from friendships formed through the Strummin’ concerts, where musicians with a passion for acoustic music first came together. Founded by Malcolm Bonnici, the project was created to celebrate the raw beauty of music, allowing individual instruments and voices to shine in their most authentic form. Now, after ten years, the band has reunited for a special performance that reflects their musical and personal journeys.
Akustika brings together a diverse group of talented musicians from different walks of life, including doctors, administrators, creatives, actors, singers, and engineers. This year’s lineup features:
