Back to Basics is a summer-long guitar course focusing on anybody wishing to learn the guitar. This course was held over the course of the Summer during which a number of teachers dedicated their time to build course material and teach. Unlike normal guitar lessons, this course aimed at not only teaching basic guitar skills, but also at creating a better appreciation towards the instrument and guiding the members of the course how to play and take care of their instruments.
With its very first edition being held in November 2002, Strummin’ has developed to become one of Malta’s most awaited charity concerts, well known for their rock tunes and timeless classics (while still giving it that little poppy edge by choosing a song or two which everyone is playing on their radios).
