Strummin’ Concert 2026 – Call for Singers & Backing Vocalists

It’s that time of the year again! It’s time to start dusting off those guitars and warming up those vocal chords, because preparations for the Strummin’ 2026 concert are well underway! This year’s theme and songs have already been chosen, we’ll let you know more about that very soon, but we can definitely say that it will be a great time!

The concert will be held on the 06th & 07th of November. Save the dates!

The call is open for ages 16+.

The Songs

You can find backing tracks for this year’s setlist here to help you prepare.

Backing Vocalists:

Kindly follow this link to submit your application. You do not need to apply for an audition slot during the upcoming call, but you may still be asked for a call-back later on.

Soloists:

Auditions will be held at St. Julian’s Parish on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June. You will have a 15-minute slot, during which we’ll ask you to perform 2 songs from the setlist. FYI this year, we’re changing things up a little and singers may get more than 1 song in addition to understudies, so don’t be afraid to vary your audition choices! Songs shall be retained in their original keys for both auditions and the show.

Whilst live auditions are preferable, for those who cannot make it in person, please contact concert@strummin.mt with a valid reason to assess if a video audition can be set up. Kindly note that if a video audition is arranged, it shall still be via video conferencing and conducted during one of the available slots so please still fill in the form below nonetheless. You are responsible for setting up your own audio. Submission of recorded auditions shall not be accepted.

Kindly note that you may be asked to shift your audition time slightly for more efficient time management.

The Call

The call is open until Wednesday 10th June midnight. Late applications will unfortunately not be considered.

On the Day

We kindly ask you to be on location and ready to audition at least 15 minutes before your assigned slot. Don’t forget your bottle of water/hot tea, a good vocal warm-up and lyrics if you need them. Please note that if you miss your slot, you’ll have to wait for the next free one in the schedule. A final confirmation of results will be sent in the proceeding weeks.

BREAK A LEG! and if you have any questions or issues, kindly contact us on concert@strummin.mt.

A call for guitarists, crew and other volunteers will follow at a later date. Please follow our socials for announcements.
