Strummin’, Malta’s beloved annual charity concert organized by the Strummin’ Foundation, is gearing up for its 20th edition on the 8th and 9th of November at St. Agatha’s Auditorium, Rabat. Known for its vibrant mix of rock tunes and timeless classics, the concert features over 80 talented guitarists, well-known and up-and-coming singers, musicians, and a dedicated crew of volunteers. Since its launch in November 2002, Strummin’ has grown into one of Malta’s most awaited musical events, combining the excitement of live music with a mission to support important causes.
This year’s edition, 20 Years of Gold, is a special celebration marking two decades of dedication and success. Over the past 20 editions, more than 2,100 participants have contributed to the growth of Strummin’, making it a true community effort. Audiences can expect over two hours of music in a concert that promises to be a memorable celebration of talent, collaboration, and charity. The chosen beneficiary for this year’s concert is Dr Klown, a non-profit organization that brings joy and comfort to young patients at Mater Dei Hospital through the work of clown doctors. The funds raised from the 2024 concert will go towards establishing a new preparation room for the clown doctors, ensuring they continue their impactful work in supporting children during their hospital stays.
