Following a successful first year, the second edition of Strummin’, named Strummin’ Home, was
moved to Sir Temi Zammit Hall. Accompanying the band were around 50 guitarists. This edition of Strummin’ started the idea of teaching a group of aspiring guitarists over the course of the summer, with the final concert taking place at the end.
With its very first edition being held in November 2002, Strummin’ has developed to become one of Malta’s most awaited charity concerts, well known for their rock tunes and timeless classics (while still giving it that little poppy edge by choosing a song or two which everyone is playing on their radios).
