If there’s one thing the Strummin’ audience loves to do is dance to the music. Strummin’s 15th edition, themed ‘Let’s Dance’, aimed to get the audience on its feet. The choir of over 70 guitarists played their hearts away to the 20 chosen songs including hits by Queen, Aerosmith, Muse, and The Beatles. Proceeds from the concert were donated to Dar Frate Jacoba.
With its very first edition being held in November 2002, Strummin’ has developed to become one of Malta’s most awaited charity concerts, well known for their rock tunes and timeless classics (while still giving it that little poppy edge by choosing a song or two which everyone is playing on their radios).
